M♥RCH..Let Spring Begin!! 2

Spring is right around the corner! After a super eventful winter, we are certainly ready to welcome spring. Believe it or not, it’s already March! Not only did winter come and go, but it almost feels like this year is blazing by so fast, too. Luckily there are so many exciting things ahead to look forward to! As we get ready to transition into spring, I’ve been trying to relish as many of my favorite spring looks as I can before the season changes. Of course I will carry my love of dresses through the summer, but for now I am still enjoying my springtime outfits.

Spring and summer are times for vibrant colors such as pink and blue. This past year I found myself wearing a lot of white, partly because I found it easy to style with, but I also found myself incorporating a lot of blue into my style. It’s such a flirty, fun, and versatile color. While I like to get dressed up, sometimes it’s just as fun to keep it casual. Cincy is one of those cities where keeping it casual is quite the norm, but being from India, I like to dress up here and there.

I recently went through my closet and did a much needed purge. But while I was organizing and going through my closet, I noticed that one color I have a lot of is white. I used to be afraid of wearing white but I have apparently come to appreciate white more and more, and now it seems my closet is reflecting that.

Last weekend we went to one of our favorite, casual spots so that didn’t mean we had to dress up too fancy but I still wanted to look modish. I wore two of my latest obsessions – my navy blue Trench Coat and my favorite pair of White Jeans. It’s a casual look but it still looks stylish when put together.

One thing I love about jeans so much is you can easily dress them up or down, especially in the summer. I love anything with versatility and I have found myself wearing this pair of jeans a lot last year with many different tops. With my tee being sleeveless, I could wear it as it is, or with a shrug, or with a jacket. My favorite way to wear a sleeveless dress is with a trench coat. Early mornings here have been not so hot yet; so while rushing to a morning breakfast date, I love the simplicity of pairing a casual look with a trench coat to keep the look laid-back yet chic.

Enjoy your weekend because a weekend well spent brings a week of content..

Have a trendy weekend
